The Good Oil meets Westgold

Westgold Spreadable butter made with The Good Oil Sunflower Oil

The combined taste of two New Zealand iconic brands

Westgold’s new spreadable butter is a blend of its award-winning creamy butter and The Good Oil sunflower oil.

Spreadable right from the fridge, Westgold’s new Spreadable Butter with our sunflower oil is a unique and special product. It has that golden colour and delicious flavour that Westgold is renowned for, and is very creamy, just like their block salted and unsalted butters.

The pride of the South Island of New Zealand

The Good Oil and Westgold have much in common as brands of quality South Island products. The Westgold story centres around milk sourced from cows grazed on grass on a small number of West Coast farms below the majestic Southern Alps. The fresh cream is then churned by master butter makers using the traditional Fritz Churn method, while The Good Oil sunflowers are grown in Canterbury and Otago.
